Lead Volunteers

Dedication makes a difference.

Lead Volunteers are the engine that runs our organization! This dedicated group of people commits to helping out for at least one farm shift or market per week– about 75 hours across the growing season! They assist our farm and Mobile Market staff in a wide variety of tasks, can work independently, help guide less experienced volunteers and are given more responsibility than our other volunteers.

Ready to Get Started?

We welcome new Lead Volunteers at both of our farms and on our Mobile Markets at the beginning of each growing season. We typically conduct orientation at the beginning of April, but can continue to bring new folks into the program and up to speed throughout that month. If you’d like to share your time and talent on the farm through the Lead Volunteer program, let us know through our Volunteer Interest Form. If you’d like to help out on a Mobile Market, please follow the instructions on the Mobile Market Lead Volunteer description. (En Español aquí)

Thanks for all you do.

To show our gratitude for the incredible support we get from this hard working group, we offer free admission to our workshops and some of our events, an end of the season celebration, and some workday perks like cubbies on the farm and fresh veggies on both the farm and markets.
