Join us for a hands-on introduction to the world of bees!
Our long-time beekeeper, Hugh Hemsley, will lead a workshop covering the basics of beekeeping, followed by an open Q&A session.
Hugh is a certified Virginia State Master Beekeeper with 15 years of experience caring for 25+ hives around Richmond. He’s passionate about pollinators, sells fresh local honey, and is always looking for new places to set up hives to allow bees to thrive.
Whether you’re curious about beekeeping or thinking of starting your own hive, this workshop is a great place to begin!
