Bug Walk
Have you ever wandered around your neighborhood and wondered who else is living there with you?
From inconspicuous ground beetles darting through the litter to cabbage worms happily munching on cabbage like no one is watching, insects are everywhere — and they all have a story to tell.
Join us on [date] at [location] for a fun and family-friendly Bug Walk! This guided exploration is perfect for curious gardeners, nature lovers, and anyone who wants to take a closer look at the critters living at Shalom Farms.
What’s a Bug Walk?
A Bug Walk is a guided, hands-on exploration of the insects living all around us. We’ll head out with nets and jars to gently observe and identify as many critters as we can find.
Along the way, you’ll learn some major concepts of insect identification, anatomy, life cycles, and their roles in horticulture and conservation — including simple monitoring and pest management techniques. By the end, we’ll create a species list of our discoveries.
