Climbing Vines: Emerging Leaders Council
Climbing Vines is Shalom Farms’ Emerging Leaders Council—a group of community-minded ambassadors helping strengthen connections, support events, and build a more equitable food system in Richmond.
Join us for an info session November 18 6-7:30p to meet our first cohort, network, and ask questions! We’ll be meeting in the Community Pavilion at our Northside Farm- 1311 Westwood Ave Richmond, VA 23227. Parking is available in the staff lot at the farm, or in the visitor lot. Our visitor lot is directly off Westwood Ave, park and walk up the main field aisle to the wooden pavilion. Alternatively, for more accessible entrance, continue driving right from the first lot, past the business office, and go left up the gravel road to the farm- pass the pack barn and park to the right of the pavilion. Members meet monthly to learn about our programs, engage with staff and board leadership, and collaborate on ways to grow Shalom’s reach and impact. It’s a space for connection, learning, and hands-on involvement in the local food justice movement.
