Internship

Northside Farm Intern

Shalom Farms is a nonprofit working with communities to increase access to healthy food and the support to live healthy lives. We work with thousands of volunteers from all backgrounds each year to produce more than 200,000 pounds of produce. We distribute this produce throughout the Richmond area through a variety of programs and partnerships.

Annually, we grow on 1.5 acres at our Northside farm and harvest over 30,000 pounds of produce. We aim to have our Northside farm be entirely no-till by 2023, and for the time being use a blend of tractor farming and no-till cultivation. We are seeking interns to participate in every aspect of our sustainable vegetable farm operation.
